Good morning/afternoon,esteemed interviewers.I am extremely honored to present myteaching plan for Lesson 1,"Everyday Life"from Unit 1 of the English textbook for Grade 7published by Beijing Normal University Press.Now,I will systematically present my teachingdesign.I.Analysis of Teaching Material"Everyday Life"in Unit 1 focuses on the theme closely related to students'daily experiences.It provides essential vocabulary,such as "everyday","routine","brush","teeth",and keysentence patterns for describing daily life routines.This lesson serves as a fundamental partof the curriculum,enabling students to express their daily activities in English.It builds abridge between students'real-life experiences and English learning,laying a solidfoundation for further study of related topics in this unit and enhancing students'ability tocommunicate about daily life situations.ll.Analysis of StudentsSeventh-grade students have accumulated some basic English knowledge,but they stillface difficulties in expressing complex daily life situations accurately.They are familiar withdaily life activities,but when it comes to using English to describe them,they may encounterproblems due to limited vocabulary and insufficient understanding of sentence structures.Atthis stage,students have different learning paces and styles,and some may be more activein class participation,while others may be more passive.Therefore,teaching should bedesigned to meet the diverse needs of students.lll.Four dimensional Goals of Core Competences1.Language AbilityStudents will master the pronunciation,spelling,and usage of key vocabulary related to dailylife.They will be able to use target sentence patterns accurately to describe their dailyroutines,improving their listening,speaking,reading,and writing skills in the context of dailylife.2.Cultural AwarenessThrough learning to describe daily life in English,students will understand the similaritiesand differences in daily life habits and cultures in different regions.This helps cultivate theircross-cultural awareness and an open-minded attitude towards diverse cultures.3.Thinking QualityBy analyzing and organizing their daily routines,students will enhance their logical thinkingability.They will learn to think systematically and express their daily life amrangements clearlyand coherently in English,improving their problem-solving and organizational skills.
