Good morning/afternoon,esteemed interviewers.I am honored to present my teaching planfor Lesson 2,"Preparation Before School"from Unit 2,"School Life"of the English textbookfor Grade 7 published by Beijing Normal University Press.Now,I will elaborate on myteaching design.I.Analysis of Teaching Material"Preparation Before School"in Unit 2 focuses on the daily-life topic of school-goingpreparations.It offers students essential vocabulary like "prepare","checklist",and keysentence patterns for discussing pre-school arrangements.This lesson is closely related tostudents'real-life experiences,bridging the gap between language learning and dailyroutines.It not only enriches students'English vocabulary but also provides practicallanguage tools for communication,laying a solid foundation for further leaming about schoollife -related topics in the unit.ll.Analysis of StudentsSeventh-grade students have a basic foundation in English but still face challenges inexpressing complex ideas in real-life contexts.They are familiar with the process ofpreparing for school,but when it comes to using English to describe and discuss thesepreparations,they may struggle with vocabulary limitations and grammar accuracy.Studentsat this stage have different learning paces and styles,and some may be more active in classparticipation,while others might be more reserved.lll.Four dimensional Goals of Core Competences1.Language AbilityStudents will master key vocabulary and sentence patterns related to pre-schoolpreparations,improving their listening,speaking,reading,and writing skills in relevantcontexts.They will be able to accurately use English to discuss and describe school-goingpreparations.2.Cultural AwarenessThrough learning related English expressions,students will understand the similarities anddifferences in pre-school routines in different cultures,cultivating cross-cultural awarenessand an open-minded attitude.3.Thinking QualityBy analyzing and organizing pre-school tasks,students will enhance their logical thinkingand planning ability.They will learn to think systematically and express ideas clearly inEnglish when talking about preparations.
