Good morning/afternoon,esteemed interviewers.I am extremely honored to present myteaching plan for the "Developing ideas"section of Unit 1,"The secrets of happiness".Now,Iwill systematically elaborate on my teaching design.I.Analysis of Teaching MaterialThe"Developing ideas"section of Unit 1 serves as a crucial part in exploring the theme ofhappiness.It goes beyond basic knowledge introduction,aiming to expand students'understanding of the concept of happiness.By introducing in-depth vocabulary related tofeelings,emotions,and personal well-being,as well as various sentence structures forexpressing opinions and making comparisons,it provides students with comprehensivelanguage tools.The combination of listening,speaking,reading,and writing tasks helpsstudents integrate language skills and develop critical thinking about this abstract topic.Thissection builds on previous learning and paves the way for students to have more profoundand diverse discussions about happiness.ll.Analysis of StudentsAt this stage,students have already acquired some basic English knowledge and languageskills related to expressing emotions.However,when it comes to discussing abstractconcepts like happiness in depth,analyzing different cultural perspectives,and using morecomplex grammar structures to express opinions,they still face challenges.Their languageproficiency in listening,speaking,reading,and writing varies,and some students maystruggle to clearly convey their thoughts on such complex topics.Moreover,students maylack experience in critical thinking and cross-cultural comparison,which requires targetedguidance and practice.lll.Four dimensional Goals of Core Competences1.Language AbilityStudents will master advanced vocabulary related to happiness,emotions,and personal wellbeing,and be able to use them accurately in different language contexts.They willproficiently apply comparative and superlative foms of adjectives,opinion-expressingphrases,and modal verbs in listening,speaking,reading,and writing,improving their overalllanguage proficiency.2.Cultural AwarenessThrough exposure to diverse cultural perspectives on happiness,students will understandthat the pursuit and understanding of happiness vary across different societies andindividuals.This will cultivate their cross-cultural awareness,enabling them to respect andappreciate cultural diversity in the concept of happiness.3.Thinking Quality
