Good morning/afternoon,esteemed interviewers.It is my great honor to present my teachingplan for Lesson 1 of Unit 1,"Family",from the English textbook for Grade 3 published byBeijing Normal University Press(starting from the third grade).Now,I will elaborate on myteaching design from several aspects.I.Analysis of Teaching MaterialThis lesson,as the beginning of the "Family"unit,mainly focuses on introducing basic temmsfor family members,such as "father","mother","brother","sister","grandfather","grandmother",and the sentence pattern "This is my...".Through vivid pictures and simpledialogues in the textbook,students are guided to initially recognize and understand how toexpress family members in English.This not only helps students build a basic vocabularyrelated to family but also lays a solid foundation for their further study of family relationshipsand related topics in the future.The content is closely related to students'daily life,whichmakes it easy for them to understand and highly relevant,thus facilitating their languagelearning and practical application.ll.Analysis of StudentsThe students in this class are in the third grade of primary school,just starting their Englishlearning journey.They may have a basic understanding of some simple daily expressions,but their vocabulary and language knowledge are quite limited.Although they are veryfamiliar with the Chinese names of family members in their daily life,they are still unfamiliarwith the English expressions.These students are characterized by strong curiosity and a great interest in new things.Theyprefer vivid and interesting teaching methods,such as English songs,games,and stories.However,their attention span is relatively short,so teachers need to adopt diverse teachingactivities and incentive methods to maintain their leaming enthusiasm.They have strongimitation abilities but relatively weak independent learning and summarization abilities,whichmeans they require more guidance and demonstration from teachers during the teachingprocess.Moreover,there are individual differences among students in terms of learningability,language foundation,and learning interest.Some students may have a higheraptitude and enthusiasm for language learning,while others may need more time andassistance to master new knowledge.lll.Four -dimensional Goals of Core Competences1.Language AbilityStudents will be able to accurately read,recognize,and pronounce the six English words forfamily members:"father","mother","brother","sister","grandfather","grandmother".Theywill also master the sentence pattern "This is my..."and be able to use it correctly tointroduce their family members in English.In addition,they will be able to understand simpledialogues and instructions related to family members and communicate in English aboutfamily -related topics at a basic level.
