Good morning/afternoon,distinguished interviewers.I am honored to present my teachingplan for Unit 4,"What Sounds Can We Hear?"from the English textbook for Grade 3published by Shanghai Education Publishing House.Now,I will elaborate on my teachingdesign in detail.I.Analysis of Teaching MaterialThis lesson,Period 3 of Unit 4,focuses on enabling students to describe the sounds theycan hear in different places,such as at home,on the street,in the park,and by the seaside.The core language used in this lesson is closely related to daily life,making it easy forstudents to understand and highly engaging.By learning this content,students not onlyimprove their English language skills but also develop a more sensitive perception of theworld around them,which has a positive impact on shaping their life attitudes.The learningof this lesson also helps students connect English with real-life experiences,enhancingtheir practical language application ability.ll.Analysis of StudentsThe students in this class are in the third grade of primary school.Through the previoussemester's study,they have acquired a certain foundation in English,including some dailyconversation expressions and basic vocabulary.However,there are still some students whoface difficulties in English learning.Their language learning abilities need to be furtherstrengthened,and their interest in English should be continuously cultivated.Moreover,dueto the individual differences in students'English proficiency,I will design various teachingactivities and tasks at different levels.This approach ensures that students with differentabilities can all actively participate in the learning process,gradually build up theirconfidence in English learning,and fom good learning habits.Ill.Four dimensional Goals of Core Competences1.Language AbilityStudents will be able to accurately use the sentence pattern"What can you hear in/at the...?I can hear..."to describe the sounds in different places through listening,speaking,andreading activities.They will also improve their listening,speaking,and writing skills related tosound description,and expand their vocabulary about sounds.2.Cultural AwarenessAlthough this lesson mainly focuses on daily sounds,it can also inspire students to noticethe cultural differences reflected in different environmental sounds.For example,the uniquesounds in traditional festivals in different cultures.This helps students develop a cross-cultural perspective from a small aspect.3.Thinking Quality
