Good morning/afternoon,esteemed interviewers.It is my great privilege to present myteaching plan for Unit 3,"What Do We Wear?"from the English textbook for Grade 3published by Shanghai Education Publishing House.I will now systematically elaborate onmy teaching design from multiple dimensions.I.Analysis of Teaching MaterialThis lesson,the second period of Unit 3,primarily focuses on enabling students to learn andapply expressions for inquiring about and stating the clothing worn in different weatherconditions.Through the story of Wu Chen from China and Gary from Australia and theirdistinct school attire,students will master the sentence pattern "What do you wear on asunny/...day?I wear...".Additionally,they will explore how students around the world dressin various weather,and learn the pronunciation of letters "k"and "g"in words.The corelanguage is highly relevant to daily life,making it easily understandable and engaging forstudents.This not only enhances their language skills but also plays a positive role incultivating their practical life skills and global awareness.ll.Analysis of StudentsThe learners are third-grade primary school students.After one semester of English study,they have accumulated some basic English knowledge,including common dailyconversation phrases and a certain amount of vocabulary.However,a portion of studentsstill face challenges in English learning.Their language proficiency needs to be furtherenhanced,and it is crucial to stimulate their interest in English,cultivate a positive learningattitude,and establish good study habits to boost their confidence in English learning.Giventhe diverse levels of students'English foundations,I will adopt flexible teaching strategiesand design differentiated language tasks to meet the needs of students with different abilities,ensuring that every student can make progress.lll.Four-dimensional Goals of Core Competences1.Language AbilityStudents will be able to proficiently use the sentence pattern "What do you wear on asunny/...day?I wear..."to inquire about and express clothing choices in different weatherconditions through listening,speaking,and reading activities.They will also accuratelyunderstand,read,and pronounce new words such as "wear","school",and master thepronunciation rules of letters "k"and "g"in words.2.Cultural AwarenessBy learning about the clothing differences of students from different countries,students willunderstand the influence of culture and climate on daily life,fostering an open and inclusivecultural perspective and enhancing their cross-cultural communication awareness.
