Good morning/afternoon,distinguished interviewers.It is my great honor to present myteaching plan for Unit 2,"How Do We Make Friends?"from the English textbook for Grade 3published by Shanghai Education Publishing House.Now,I will elaborate on my teachingdesign from several aspects.I.Analysis of Teaching MaterialThis lesson is the second period of Unit 2,mainly focusing on teaching students how to askand express preferences using the sentence pattern "Do you like...?Yes,I do./No,I don't.".Through the story of several students making friends at the seaside,students will learnpractical communication skills.The core language is commonly used in daily life,which iseasy for students to understand and highly relevant to their interests.Moreover,it plays apositive role in cultivating students'social skills and positive life attitudes.The learningcontent also includes the pronunciation of letters "t"and "d"in words,which is an importantpart of phonetic learning,laying a solid foundation for students'future English reading andspelling.ll.Analysis of StudentsThe students in this class are in the third grade of primary school.After one semester ofEnglish learning,they have acquired a certain basic knowledge of English,including somedaily conversation expressions and a small amount of vocabulary.However,there is still apart of students who face difficulties in English learning.Their language learning abilitiesneed to be strengthened,and their interest in English should be further cultivated.Meanwhile,due to the individual differences in students'English foundations,I need to adoptdiversified teaching strategies and design various language tasks at different levels.Thisway,I can meet the learning needs of students with different abilities and help each studentmake progress in English learning.lll.Four-dimensional Goals of Core Competences1.Language AbilityStudents will be able to master and use the sentence pattern "Do you like...?Yes,I do./No,Idon't."to ask and express their preferences accurately in listening,speaking,and readingactivities.They will also be able to understand and correctly pronounce the new wordsrelated to this lesson,such as "sandcastle","great",etc.,and master the pronunciation rulesof letters "t"and "d"in words.2.Cultural AwarenessThrough learning the story of making friends,students will understand the importance offriendship in different cultural backgrounds,and learn some basic communication etiquettesand cultural connotations in English-speaking countries when making friends,thuscultivating their cross-cultural communication awareness.
