I.Analysis of Teaching MaterialGood morning/afternoon,esteemed interviewers.I am delighted to present my teaching planfor Unit 1,"How Do We Spend Our Free Time?"from the English textbook for Grade 3published by Shanghai Education Publishing House.This lesson is the first period of the unit,focusing on teaching students English expressions of common leisure activities.The content,through listening,speaking,and reading exercises,helps students master these expressions.As the core language is commonly used in daily life,it is easy to understand and highlyengaging for students,which also plays a positive role in cultivating their attitudes towardslifell.Analysis of StudentsThe learners are third-grade primary school students.Having studied English for onesemester,they have gained a basic understanding of the language and grasped some dailyexpressions and vocabulary.However,a portion of students still struggle with Englishlearning.Therefore,in this semester,it's crucial to enhance their language learning abilities,cultivate their interest in English,and build their confidence.Considering the individualdifferences among students,I will adopt various teaching strategies and design diversifiedlanguage tasks to meet the needs of students at different proficiency levels.Ill.Four-dimensional Goals of Core Competences1.Language AbilityStudents will be able to acquire and master English expressions of common leisure activitiesthrough listening,speaking,and reading activities.They will be able to use the sentencepattern "I can...to describe their own leisure activities accurately.2.Cultural AwarenessBy learning about different leisure activities,students will understand the similarities anddifferences in leisure life between different cultures,fostering an open and inclusive culturalattitude.3.Thinking QualityDuring group discussions and real-context creation,students'logical thinking,creativethinking,and problem-solving abilities will be developed.They will learn to think criticallyand express their opinions in English.4.Learning Ability
