Unit 4 Have fun after class"(Period 3:Wrap -upTime)Good morning/afternoon,esteemed interviewers!I am honored to present my teaching planfor the third period of "Unit 4 Have fun after class",namely the "Wrap-up Time".This lessonaims to integrate knowledge review,practical application,and ability cultivation,providingstudents with a comprehensive and meaningful learning experience.I will elaborate on myteaching design from multiple aspects.I.Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThe"Wrap-up Time"of Unit 4 is composed of three main parts:comprehensive learningactivities,"Assessment Time",and "Picture Book Integration".The comprehensive learningactivities,including "Plan your after-class activities"and "Think and share",play a crucialrole.The sub-activities "A.Listen and match"and "B.Think and make"are designed toenhance students'language skills and practical abilities.In "Listen and match",studentsimprove their listening skills and information-processing abilities by matching people,activities,and positions through listening to recordings."Think and make"encouragesstudents to create their own after-class activity plans and present them using the corelanguage of this unit,which not only promotes language expression but also cultivates timemanagement and activity -planning skills.The "Think and share"segment guides studentsto review the unit content and respond to the Big Question,deepening their understanding ofthe theme.The"Assessment Time"is a self-evaluation module that corresponds to the "Learningobjectives"in the "Lead-in"section.Students assess their proficiency in talking aboutpositions,discussing after-class fun,and exploring ways to enjoy after-class timeaccording to specific criteria.This module can serve as either a formative or summativeassessment,helping students monitor their learning progress.The"Picture Book Integration"supplements the unit content.By engaging with the picturebook,students expand their vocabulary related to after-class activities,feel the richness ofafter-class life,and develop a positive attitude towards learning and relaxation.ll.Analysis of the StudentsThird-grade students are lively,curious,and mainly rely on concrete-image thinking.Theyare interested in new things,good at imitation,and enjoy learning through practical activitiesAfter the previous two lessons,they have recognized the diversity and importance of after-class life and learned basic time -management skills.They show enthusiasm for the unittheme and have certain observation and language -learning abilities.However,they stillneed guidance in mastering complex language structures,such as prepositions and relatedsentence patterns,and applying knowledge to real-life planning.Through teacher-ledactivities and peer interactions,they can improve their language output ability and practicalproblem-solving skills.
