THE END
Unit 2 Clean our classroom"(Period 3:Wrap-upTime)Good morning/afternoon,esteemed interviewers! It is my great honor to present the teachingplan for the third period of "Unit 2 Clean our classroom",namely the"Wrap-up Time".In thispresentation,I will comprehensively elaborate on my teaching design, aiming to create a richand effective learning experience that integrates knowledge consolidation, practicalapplication, and value cultivation.I.Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThe "Wrap-up Time"of Unit 2 is composed of comprehensive learning activities,"Assessment Time",and "Picture Book Integration",each playing a distinct yetcomplementary role in the learning process. The comprehensive learning activities, including "Make a cleaning plan"and "Think andshare",are the core of this period. The activity "A.Listen and order"and "B.Make and say"require students to apply the knowledge learned in previous lessons, clarify the steps ofcleaning, and create a school cleaning plan. This not only enhances students'languageorganization and expression abilities but also cultivates their planning skills, teamwork spirit, and sense of environmental responsibility. The "Think and share"session serves as areflective link, guiding students to review the unit content and respond to the Big Question, promoting a deeper understanding of the theme. The"Assessment Time"is a self-evaluation module that echoes the "Learning objectives"in the "Lead-in"section.It allows students to assess themselves according to specificcriteria, including their ability to talk about cleaning activities, use polite language, and makecleaning plans. This module can function as either a fommative or summative evaluation, helping students monitor their learning progress. The "Picture Book Integration"section is an extension of the unit.By engaging with thepicture book, students can expand their vocabulary related to cleaning, experience the joy oflabor, and develop correct emotional attitudes and values, further enriching their learningexperience.ll.Analysis of the StudentsThird-grade students are characterized by their lively nature, strong curiosity, andpreference for concrete-image thinking. They are good at imitation and enjoy learningthrough hands -on experiences. After the previous two lessons, they have acquired basicexpressions related to cleaning and have shown enthusiasm for participating in labor-related activities. They are interested in the unit theme and have certain observation andcommunication abilities. However, they still need guidance in using language accurately inreal-life scenarios, forming good habits, and enhancing their teamwork and cooperationskills. Moreover, guiding them to internalize the values of environmental protection andcooperation remains a key aspect of teaching.
