Good morning/afternoon,esteemed interviewers.I am honored to present my teaching planfor Lesson 2,"Time to Tidy"from Unit 3,"Home and Places"of the English textbook forGrade 7 published by Beijing Normal University Press.Now,I will elaborate on my teachingdesign.I.Analysis of Teaching MaterialThis lesson,"Time to Tidy"in Unit 3,focuses on the theme of home and places,specificallyon room tidying.It provides students with essential vocabulary and sentence patterns relatedto describing room conditions and giving/taking tidying-up suggestions.As a part of the unit,it not only enriches students'language knowledge but also bridges the gap between Englishlearning and real-life scenarios,laying a foundation for further communication about home-related topics.ll.Analysis of StudentsSeventh-grade students have already acquired a certain amount of basic Englishknowledge.However,they may still struggle with applying new vocabulary and complexsentence structures in practical situations.They are at an age where they are curious aboutreal-life-related topics like room tidying,but their English proficiency in expressing ideas insuch contexts is limited.Some students may be more active in class participation,whileothers might be shy or less confident in English communication.Ill.Four-dimensional Goals of Core Competences1.Language AbilityStudents will master key vocabulary and sentence patterns about room tidying,improvingtheir reading,writing,listening,and speaking skills related to this topic.They will be able toaccurately use these words and sentences in daily communication.2.Cultural AwarenessThrough learning about room-tidying expressions,students will understand that maintaininga clean living environment is a common value in different cultures,cultivating an awarenessof cultural similarities in daily life.3.Thinking QualityStudents will enhance their logical thinking by analyzing room-tidying tasks and organizingtheir thoughts to express opinions and suggestions.They will also improve their problem-solving ability when dealing with practical tidying-up situations described in English.4.Learning Ability
