Good morning/afternoon,esteemed interviewers.It is my great honor to present my teachingplan for Lesson 1 of Unit 2,"We are different",from the English textbook for Grade 3published by Beijing Normal University Press.Now,I will elaborate on my teaching design indetail.I.Analysis of Teaching Material1.Status and Role of the Teaching MaterialUnit 2,centered around the theme "We are different",commences with Lesson 1,whichfocuses on "Different hobbies".Through a situational dialogue where Xiaohua introduces thehobbies of her grandpa,uncle,aunt,and cousin to Xiaobei,this lesson presents vocabularyand sentence patterns related to family members'hobbies.As the foundational lesson of thisunit,it guides students to start from paying attention to family members'hobbies,graduallydeepening their understanding of the theme "We are different".Meanwhile,it serves as asolid preparation for subsequent learning,such as introducing family members'occupationsand recognizing and responding to different emotions.2.Analysis of Teaching Material ContentVocabulary:It covers family member terms like "grandpa","aunt","uncle","cousin",as wellas hobby -related words such as "planting flowers","riding bikes","playing ping pong".These words,closely related to students'daily lives,form the basis for students to describefamily members'hobbies and are easy to understand and remember.Sentence Patterns:The key sentence patterns "What does he like?","Does your...like...?",and "He/She likes..."are used for inquiring about and expressing others'hobbies.Theapplication of the simple present tense in these patterns aligns with third-grade students'cognitive level and further helps them contact and reinforce the concept of verb tenses inEnglish learning.Discourse:The discourse follows the common conversation mode of primary schoolstudents,with a simple and easy-to-understand plot that is close to students'real lives.This enables students to understand and apply the learned language knowledge in authenticsituations and also guides them to pay attention to family members'hobbies,cultivatingfamily affection.ll.Analysis of StudentsThird-grade students have just stepped into systematic English learning.They are full ofcuriosity and enthusiasm for new knowledge but have a limited English foundation.Althoughthey have accumulated some basic vocabulary and simple sentence patterns,when facingnew vocabulary and more complex sentence structures involving verb tenses,they mayencounter difficulties.Their language learning is mainly based on intuition and imitation,lacking in-depth understanding of grammar rules.However,they have a certainunderstanding of family members and daily life,which provides a favorable condition forlearning this lesson.Therefore,in teaching,it is necessary to adopt vivid and interesting
