Good morning/afternoon,esteemed interviewers.I am honored to present my teaching planfor Lesson 4 of Unit 1,"Family",from the third-grade English textbook published by BeijingNormal University Press(starting from the third grade).Now,I will elaborate on this teachingdesign in detail.I.Analysis of Teaching MaterialLesson 4 of Unit 1 continues to explore the theme of family,expanding on the previouslylearned knowledge about family members.It focuses on family activities and interactionsamong family members.Through various fomms such as pictures,dialogues,and shortpassages,the lesson aims to guide students in learning how to describe daily familyactivities and emotional exchanges in English.The key lies in the comprehensive applicationof related sentence patterns.This content not only cultivates students'observation skills andlanguage expression ability regarding family life but also enhances their love and sense ofbelonging to the family.The teaching material closely relates to students'real-lifeexperiences,full of life flavor,which can effectively arouse students'learning interest andresonance,playing a crucial role in improving students'English comprehensive applicationability.ll.Analysis of StudentsThird-grade students are still in the initial stage of English learning.They have a strongcuriosity about new things and are eager to express themselves,but their English foundationremains weak.Although they have accumulated some basic vocabulary and simplesentence patterns in previous studies,when facing more complex expressions about familyactivities,they may encounter difficulties in vocabulary acquisition,sentence structureunderstanding,and practical application.Moreover,students at this stage have limited lifeexperience and language organization ability,so it may be challenging for them to describefamily activities accurately and vividly.However,their familiarity with family life provides agood foundation for learning this lesson.Therefore,in teaching,we need to adopt diverseteaching methods to stimulate their enthusiasm and help them overcome difficulties.lll.Four-dimensional Goals of Core Competences1.Language AbilityStudents will be able to understand,speak,read,and recognize vocabulary related to familyactivities,like "have breakfast","have lunch","have dinner","watch TV","play games","readbooks","go for a walk",etc.They will master and skillfully use the sentence patterns "Weoften...in the...(time)"and "I like to...with my..."to describe family daily activities andinteractions with family members,improving their listening,speaking,reading,and writingabilities in relevant contexts.2.Cultural Awareness
