Dear judges,Good [morning/afternoon]!It is my great honor to present my teaching plan for "Part B Let'stalk Do a Survey"in Unit 2 "Expressing yourself"from the English textbook for Grade 3,Volume 2 of People's Education Edition. Now,I will elaborate on my teaching design fromthe following aspects.I.Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis teaching period focuses on the theme "How do we express our feelings?".The"Let'stalk"section presents a dialogue scenario between two students during their way to school, centering on the topic of how students express love to their parents. It involves theapplication of common sentence patterns such as "Do you...?","Yes,I do.",and "No,I don't.",which are essential for daily communication. The "Do a Survey"part, based on the previous dialogue, guides students to carry out asurvey activity. This task requires students to apply the learned communication sentencepatterns in the actual process of information collection. They need to interview theirclassmates and record the results, which not only strengthens their understanding andapplication of the language but also cultivates their social and cooperative abilities.Thecombination of dialogue learning and practical survey activity in this lesson effectivelyconnects language knowledge with real -life practice, helping students improve theircomprehensive language proficiency.ll.Analysis of the StudentsFor third-grade students, they have a certain foundation in English learning but still lackexperience in practical language application. The dialogue in "Let's talk"has a simple andstraightforward structure.Through the back-and-forth questions and answers betweencharacters, key sentence patterns and vocabulary are naturally introduced, enablingstudents to understand the meaning and usage of the language in specific contexts.Thedialogue starts with the scene of two students leaving home respectively, then one studentinitiates the topic by asking whether the other expresses love to their mother by huggingevery day,and the other responds and shares their own situation, fomming an interactivecommunication mode that is easy for students to follow and imitate. The "Do a Survey"activity has a clear task-orientation.The process, starting from theteacher guiding students to clarify the survey purpose and theme, demonstrating how to askquestions, then students conducting the survey in groups or individually, and finallyorganizing and reporting the results,is step-by -step and in line with students'cognitivelaws and learning processes. However, some students may still face difficulties in usingsentence patterns naturally in real-life situations, and there may be problems such asunclear group division and low efficiency during the survey process.lll.Four-Dimensional Goals of Core Competencies1.Language Knowledge
