Dear judges,Good [morning/afternoon]!It is my great honor to present my teaching plan for "Part B Let'sTalk"in Unit 1 "Meeting New People"from the English textbook for Grade 3,Volume 2 ofPeople's Education Edition. Now,I will elaborate on my teaching design from the followingaspectsI.Analysis of the Teaching Material"Let's Talk"in this unit presents a short daily-life dialogue scenario, focusing on offeringhelp to others and being polite in daily life.It aims to teach students how to conduct basicsocial interactions politely.Through this dialogue, students can learn practical expressionsand sentence patterns used in real-life communication, which helps them improve their oralEnglish skills and cultural awareness of communication. The"Choose and Say"section, based on the previous dialogue, provides two picturesrelated to neighborhood coexistence and the daily expressions learned before. It requiresstudents to make choices and further express themselves, which effectively consolidatesand expands the vocabulary and sentence patterns learned in the dialogue. This section notonly deepens students'understanding of the learned knowledge but also encourages themto think creatively and use English in a more flexible way, playing an important role inconnecting knowledge learning with practical application.ll.Analysis of the StudentsFor third-grade students, their English foundation is relatively weak, and they are still in thestage of accumulating basic language knowledge. However, they are full of curiosity andenthusiasm for new things, especially for learning English through vivid and interesting forms. The dialogue in "Let's Talk"has a simple sentence structure, mainly consisting of simplesentences in daily communication, which is very suitable for students at this stage tounderstand and imitate. The role-playing and question-answer mode in the dialogueconforms to the real-life communication scene, making it easier for students to empathizeand participate. The "Choose and Say"task, with its semi-open structure, gives students acertain range of choices, reducing the difficulty of expression while also providing space forthem to show their individuality. This step-by -step design can gradually guide studentsfrom imitating dialogues to expressing independently, but some students may still facechallenges in accurately using sentence patterns in different scenarios due to their limitedlanguage sense and practical experience.lll.Four -Dimensional Goals of Core Competencies1.Language KnowledgeStudents will be able to imitate the dialogue in "Let's Talk"and perform role -plays with theirpeers, mastering key sentence patterns like "Who's that girl?"and its response "That's...",aswell as other related daily expressions.2.Thinking Ability
