Dear judges,Good [morning/afternoon]!It is my great honor to present my teaching plan for "Part B Let'sLearn Part C Project"in Unit 1 "Meeting New People"from the English textbook for Grade3,Volume 2 of People's Education Edition.Now,I will elaborate on my teaching design fromthe following aspects.I.Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis lesson combines dialogue learning,vocabulary acquisition,and project-basedactivities.As a crucial part of Unit 1,it not only introduces new sentence patterns but alsoreinforces previously leamed content.The teaching material presents a vivid scene whereZhang Peng and Amy greet their neighbors and Zhang Peng introduces the neighbors toAmy on their way to school.This context -rich scenario allows students to infer thedialogue's theme,context,and main information based on pictures,and learn vocabularythrough understanding the sound,form,and meaning of words in context.The "Let's Learn"section focuses on teaching vocabulary related to people categories,suchas "boy","girl","man","woman","Mr",etc.,along with the sentence pattern "Who's that...?""That's...".The "Project"part,centered around creating a food festival poster,serves as anextension task.It encourages students to integrate the knowledge they've leamed,fosteringcreativity and practical application of English.Overall,this lesson plays a vital role inenhancing students'language skills and bridging the gap between knowledge learning andreal-life application.ll.Analysis of the StudentsThird-grade students are in an exploratory stage of English learning.They are curiousabout new things but may lack confidence in language expression due to limited vocabularyand grammar knowledge.The teaching structure of combining situational teaching and task-driven methods in this lesson is highly suitable for them.The use of pictures,dialogues,andinteresting tasks can effectively arouse their leaming enthusiasm.However,some students may struggle to understand and follow the "Listen and do"instructions due to the complexity of English language input.In group activities,there may bedifferences in participation levels,with some students being more active while others beingpassive.When it comes to the "Project"task of making a food festival poster,students withdifferent levels of creativity and language proficiency may face varying degrees of difficulty.Therefore,during teaching,it's necessary to pay attention to individual differences,provideappropriate guidance,and create an inclusive learning environment to ensure every studentcan make progress.lll.Four Dimensional Goals of Core Competencies1.Language Knowledge
