Dear judges,Good [morning/afternoon]!It is my great honor to present my teaching plan for"Part B Readand write Reading time"in Unit 6 "Numbers in life"from the English textbook for Grade 3,Volume 2.Now,I will elaborate on my teaching design from the following aspects.I.Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis teaching period focuses on reading and expression.The "Read and write"sectionadopts the fomm of short reading texts paired with pictures,guiding students on how to betterobserve and understand the surrounding things.Through writing exercises like filling in theblanks with selected words based on pictures,it reinforces the learned vocabulary,sentencepatterns,and writing norms.The"Reading time"provides rich reading materials,combining pictures with texts to deepenstudents'understanding of the theme,expand their reading horizons,and enrich theirEnglish expressions.Additionally,it aims to introduce students to basic Englishpronunciation rules and encourage them to create new dialogues with peers.Overall,thesecontents create real-life-like scenarios,helping students get familiar with the main contentof this unit and paving the way for leaming key sentence patterns.ll.Analysis of the StudentsThe "Read and write"part follows the structure of "reading -comprehension-pairing-writing".It first presents reading texts with brief descriptive sentences to convey information.Then,students match the texts with pictures according to visual cues.Finally,fill-in-the-blank and writing tasks are set to promote in-depth understanding of text details andlanguage knowledge.The "Reading time"uses non-continuous texts combined with pictures,featuring flexibleand diverse content.By comparing differences among different objects,it highlights the unittheme,broadens students'reading horizons,and enriches their language expression forms.Given the significant differences between English and Chinese pronunciation habits,students may struggle with pronunciation.Therefore,teachers need to pay close attention,guide them to overcome difficulties,and encourage them to speak English boldlylll.Four -Dimensional Goals of Core Competencies1.Language KnowledgeStudents will be able to understand the texts in"Read and write",master sentence patternsin context,listen to the audio,follow the reading,and recite the texts.2.Thinking AbilityThey will grasp the meanings and usages of new vocabulary and common sentence patterns,understand simple sentence structures and the logical relationships within texts.3.Leaming Ability
