Dear judges,Good [morning/afternoon]!It is my great honor to present my teaching plan for "Part B Let'stalk Role-play"in Unit 6 "Numbers in life"from the English textbook for Grade 3,Volume2 of People's Education Edition.Now,I will elaborate on my teaching design from thefollowing aspects.I.Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis teaching period is mainly composed of two parts:"Let's talk"and "Role -play".In the"Let's talk"section,set in the context of a flea market dialogue,students will be initiallyexposed to English pronunciation rules while learning new vocabulary such as"sixteen,""seventeen,""twenty,"and important sentence patterns like "-How much is ...?-It's ..yuan.","..yuan.You can have...for...yuan.","How about ..for ..yuan?".This partprovides students with practical language input and a real-life-like scenario for learning.The"Role-play"part,carried out in an interesting way,not only reinforces the newly learnedvocabulary but also exercises students'listening comprehension,oral expression,andlogical thinking abilities.Through role-playing activities,students can practice andconsolidate the key sentence patterns,bridging the gap between language learning and realworld application.Overall,these two parts work together to help students familiarize withthe teaching materials and master the sentence patterns effectively.ll.Analysis of the StudentsFrom the perspective of language leaming,the discourse in this lesson offers studentsauthentic and practical language materials,laying a solid foundation for their future morecomplex language expressions and communications.In terms of cognitive development,byconnecting English vocabulary with daily leaming environments,it helps students establish alink between English and real life,enhancing their cognitive abilities and language sensitivity.Emotionally,the setting of guessing games makes English learning full of fun,reducingstudents'fear of learning English and stimulating their interest and enthusiasm.This,in turn,cultivates students'good learning qualities of active participation and bold expression inclass,which is conducive to maintaining their long-tem enthusiasm for English leaming.However,due to the differences between English pronunciation and Chinese pronunciationhabits,students may still face challenges in accurate pronunciation and natural languageapplication,which requires teachers'targeted guidance.lll.Four -Dimensional Goals of Core Competencies1.Language KnowledgeStudents will be able to identify and understand the vocabulary and sentences learned in thislesson through listening,speaking,recognizing,and reading activities.2.Thinking Ability
