Dear judges,Good [morning/afternoon]!It is my great honor to present my teaching plan for "Part B Let'slearn Listen and chant Part C Project"in Unit 6"Numbers in life"from the Englishtextbook for Grade 3,Volume 2 of People's Education Edition.Now,I will elaborate on myteaching design from the following aspects.I.Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis teaching period consists of three main parts.In the "Let's learn"section,it mainlyfocuses on teaching the cardinal numbers "eighteen"and "nineteen".Through teachers'action demonstrations and students'imitation practices,students are expected tounderstand and master the meanings and usages of these words.The"Listen and chant"part combines listening training with action commands.Students arerequired to respond with corresponding actions according to the heard commands,whichhelps to strengthen their listening comprehension of vocabulary and sentences as well astheir ability to react with actions.The"Project"section requires students to apply the learned vocabulary and sentencepatterns to showcase their learning achievements and consolidate the knowledge.It alsoincludes a game related to key sentence patterns,enabling students to recognize the formsand pronunciations of words,and conduct self-assessment and improvement based on theevaluation results of this unit.Overall,these parts guide students from knowledge leaming topractical application,helping them familiarize with the teaching materials and practice thesentence patterns effectively.ll.Analysis of the StudentsThe teaching materials of this lesson adopt a structure that combines situational teachingand task-driven methods,presenting a progressive process from learning to practice andthen to comprehensive application.The "Let's leam"part starts with intuitive teaching.Withthe help of teachers'body language and physical props,students can initially recognize thenumbers.The "Listen and chant"part,based on the previous learning,forms a cycle of commandunderstanding and execution through listening input and physical action output,deepeningstudents'memory.The "Project"is a comprehensive task that integrates the previouslylearned vocabulary and sentence patterns,allowing students to show their creativity.Thisprogressive structure is beneficial for gradually improving students'language application andcomprehensive practical abilities,as well as enhancing their enthusiasm and initiative inlearning English,thus creating a good psychological foundation for future English learning.However,some students may still face difficulties in accurately pronouncing new words andusing sentence patterns naturally in different situations,which requires teachers'targetedguidance.lll.Four-Dimensional Goals of Core Competencies
