Dear judges,Good [morning/afternoon]!It is my great honor to present my teaching plan for "Part A Let'stalk Count and say"in Unit 6 "Useful Numbers"from the English textbook for Grade 3,Volume 2 of People's Education Edition. Now,I will elaborate on my teaching design fromthe following aspects.I.Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis teaching period centers around dialogue-based leaming in a study-related context.Inthe"Let's talk"section, the teaching material presents vocabulary related to numbers, suchas "eraser,""ruler,"and the verb "find,"along with the commonly used sentence patterns"How many ..do we have/need?"Through this dialogue, students leam to count, organize, and pack items and respond with "We have/need..."to indicate quantities. The"Count and say"part further reinforces the vocabulary and sentence patterns learned in"Let's talk."The simple daily language used in these sections shows students'interactions ina learning environment, helping them get familiar with basic English expressions relevant tostudy.By creating a real-life-like learning context, these materials stimulate students'interest in English learning, guiding them from language input to practical application andenhancing their language-using ability in relevant scenarios.ll.Analysis of the StudentsThe text of this lesson is in the form of a dialogue, presented through simple question-and-answer exchanges.Starting with an introduction of the topic,it then develops conversationsaround numbers. These familiar scenarios and topics enable students to realize thepracticality of English in daily study, enhancing their confidence in using English forcommunication. The repetitive and substitution exercises in the dialogue help students quickly master keysentence patterns, build a preliminary language framework, and develop a sense oflanguage. However, some students may still face difficulties in accurately pronouncingcertain words and flexibly applying sentence patterns in real-life situations. Therefore, teachers need to provide targeted guidance, encourage students to practice more, and helpthem overcome these challenges to improve their comprehensive English proficiency.Ill.Four-Dimensional Goals of Core Competencies1.Language KnowledgeStudents will understand and master the dialogue in "Let's talk,"and learn vocabulary andsentence patterns related to numbers through listening, speaking, recognizing, and readingactivities.2.Thinking Ability
