Dear judges,Good [morning/afternoon]!It is my great honor to present my teaching plan for "Part B Let'slearn Listen and do Part C Project"in Unit 5 "Old toys"from the English textbook forGrade 3,Volume 2 of People's Education Edition.Now,I will elaborate on my teachingdesign from the following aspects.I.Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis teaching period,the fifth lesson of the "Old toys"unit,is structured into threeinterconnected parts.The"Let's learn"section focuses on the acquisition of toy-relatedEnglish vocabulary and simple expressions.Words like "under"and "map"are presented,paired with descriptive sentences such as "-Where is...?-It's..."and "Put...in/on/under...".This combination enables students to learn the English names of toys andgain a basic understanding of their attributes.The"Listen and do"part reinforces vocabulary comprehension and memory through aninteractive approach.Students are required to perfom corresponding actions upon hearingEnglish instructions,which helps internalize the learned words and phrases.The"Project"section promotes project-based learning.It encourages students to sort outold items at home,consider ways of upcycling them,create handicrafts from reusedmaterials,and then introduce their creations to parents.This not only integrates languagelearning with practical skills but also nurtures students'comprehensive practical abilities.ll.Analysis of the StudentsThird-grade students are at an early stage of English learning,characterized by strongcuriosity and a preference for visual and interactive learning.The teaching materials adopt acombination of situational teaching and task-driven approaches.The "Let's learn"part usesstatic visual aids with pictures corresponding to words and sentences,facilitating students'intuitive recognition and learning of new knowledge.The"Listen and do"section is dynamicand interactive,leveraging audio instructions to prompt student participation,transformingpassive listening into active physical responses.The "Project"section offers an open-endedframework,allowing students ample room for self-expression.It stimulates creativity andencourages students to expand their language use.The three parts progress sequentially,from knowledge acquisition to application and finally to practical exploration,aligning wellwith students'cognitive and language-learning processes.However,some students maystruggle with accurate pronunciation and flexible language application in diverse contextsdue to individual differences.Ill.Four-Dimensional Goals of Core Competencies1.Language KnowledgeStudents will understand and memorize the toy related English words and simplesentences presented in "Let's learn,"grasping their meanings and correct usage.2.Thinking Ability
