Dear judges,Good [morning/afternoon]!It is my great honor to present my teaching plan for"Part A Let'stalk Think and say"in Unit 5"Old toys"from the English textbook for Grade 3,Volume 2 ofPeople's Education Edition.Now,I will elaborate on my teaching design from the followingaspectsI.Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis teaching period mainly revolves around the topic of"Old toys".The "Let's talk"sectionpresents a simple daily-life dialogue scenario.Through this dialogue,it introduces andenables students to use English expressions such as"Do you have..?-Yes,I do.No,I don't."and "This...is..."to describe their preferences for certain toys.This part servesas a model for students to learn practical language expressions in a real-life-like context.The "Think and say"section is an interesting interactive activity based on the previousdialogue.It encourages students to imitate the dialogue content and communicate with theirpartners in pairs.By applying the learned sentences to express their own preferences,students can strengthen their understanding and application of the learned dialogues andexpressions.These two parts are closely connected,guiding students from language input tooutput,and helping them gradually master the language knowledge related to toys.ll.Analysis of the StudentsFor third-grade students,they are in the initial stage of English learning,with limited Englishfoundation but strong curiosity and a willingness to imitate.The overall structure of thislesson,which first presents a dialogue example and then guides students to imitate andexpand through interactive games in the "Think and say"section,is in line with theircognitive laws.The language of this lesson features a lot of repetitive and substitution exercises,whichhelps students quickly remember and master key sentence patterns.However,due toindividual differences,some students may still face difficulties in accurately pronouncingcomplex words,and some may struggle to use the learned sentence patterns flexibly in reallife communication.Therefore,during teaching,it is necessary to pay attention to individualguidance and provide more practice opportunities.lll.Four Dimensional Goals of Core Competencies1.Language KnowledgeStudents will be able to understand the simple dialogue in "Let's talk",grasp the meaning ofsentences expressing preferences for toys,and master the pronunciation and spelling ofrelated toy words.2.Thinking AbilityStudents will be able to analyze and understand the language structure in the dialogue,distinguish the usage of different sentence patterns,and improve their logical thinking abilityin language learning.
