Dear judges,Good [morning/afternoon]!It is my great honor to present my teaching plan for "Part A Let'slearn Listen and chant"in Unit 5"Old toys"from the English textbook for Grade 3,Volume2 of People's Education Edition.Now,I will elaborate on my teaching design from thefollowing aspects.I.Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis teaching period mainly consists of two parts:"Let's learn"and "Listen and chant".In the"Let's learn"section,by observing things around,it presents English words related to varioustoys,accompanied by corresponding pictures.Meanwhile,it introduces the sentence pattern"I'd like some..."to help students recognize and remember these words.This part focuses onbuilding students'vocabulary foundation and language expression ability related to toys.The"Listen and chant"part emphasizes the combination of listening training and actioninstructions.It provides instructions related to the learned toy words,and students arerequired to make corresponding actions according to the instructions.Through this activity,students can not only consolidate the learned knowledge in a cheerful atmosphere but alsoenhance their understanding and application of the words,promoting the integration oflanguage learning and practical actions.ll.Analysis of the StudentsFor third-grade students,they are at an early stage of English learning,with a strongcuriosity about new things but limited language accumulation.The theme of"old toys"in thislesson is highly relevant to their daily life,which can effectively arouse their interest inlearning.The teaching content,with its combination of vivid pictures,simple sentencepatterns,and interactive activities,is suitable for their cognitive level.The language learning process in this lesson,from vocabulary acquisition to listening andaction-responding practice,can gradually improve students'language skills.However,dueto individual differences,some students may face difficulties in accurately pronouncingcertain words,and some may struggle to flexibly apply the learned vocabulary and sentencepatterns in real-life communication situations.lll.Four -Dimensional Goals of Core Competencies1.Language KnowledgeStudents will be able to understand simple English descriptions of toys by teachers,establish the connection between words and corresponding objects,and be able to followand imitate the expressions accurately.2.Thinking AbilityThrough the "Listen and chant"activity,students can quickly and accurately performcorresponding actions according to the instructions containing the learned toy words,improving their language reaction speed and thinking -action coordination ability.
