Dear judges,Good [morning/afternoon]!It is my great honor to present my teaching plan for"Part A Let'stalk Let's play"in Unit 4"Healthy food"from the English textbook for Grade 3,Volume 1 ofPeople's Education Edition.Now,I will elaborate on my teaching design from the followingaspectsI.Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis teaching period focuses on the theme of "Breakfast time".In the "Let's talk"section,itpresents a simple daily-life dialogue set in the context of a mother preparing breakfast forMike Black.Through this vivid scenario,it introduces and enables students to use Englishexpressions such as "I'd like some..."and "Have some..."to describe their preferences forbreakfast foods.The"Let's play"part is designed based on the content of the previous dialogue.It includesinteresting interactive dialogues where students are encouraged to imitate the conversationin pairs.Additionally,through a game of drawing food cards,students apply the learnedsentences to express their preferences,which effectively reinforces their understanding andusage of the dialogues and expressions.These two parts work together to create acomprehensive learning experience that combines language input and output,facilitatingstudents'acquisition and application of English in real-life-related situations.ll.Analysis of the StudentsFor third-grade students,they are at the initial stage of English leaming,with a strongcuriosity about new things but limited language accumulation.The structure of this lesson iswell-organized.It first presents a dialogue example,providing a model for language use,which helps students understand how to communicate about breakfast foods.Then,throughthe interactive games in the "Let's play"section,students are guided to imitate and expandthe use of the learned content,gradually deepening their mastery of key sentence patternsand related food words in practical communication from the stage of input to output.In terms of language features,the lesson makes extensive use of repetition and substitutionexercises to strengthen students'memory and application of key sentence patterns.Thisapproach is in line with students'cognitive laws,helping them quickly grasp the key contentand gradually build a sense of language and a preliminary language framework.However,due to individual differences in learning abilities and personalities,some students may stillface difficulties in flexibly using these sentence patterns and words in real life situations.lll.Four -Dimensional Goals of Core Competencies1.Language KnowledgeStudents will be able to understand and read the simple dialogues in "Let's talk",andcomprehend the meanings of sentences expressing preferences for healthy foods.2.Thinking Ability
