Unit6 Usefulnumbers第3课时PartALet'stalk&Let'slearnDear judges,Good [morning/afternoon]!It is my great honor to present my teaching plan for Unit 6 UsefulNumbers,the 3rd period.Now,I will elaborate on my teaching design from the followingaspects.I.Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis 3rd-period lesson is a comprehensive integration of multiple teaching components.The "Let's talk"section immerses students in character dialogues,enabling them to perceivethe semantic and pragmatic functions of the core sentence patterns "How many...?"and"Two.I have..yuan"and encourages natural application in real-life scenarios.The "Countand say"part requires students to observe pictures,ask questions using "How many..?"andcount the number of animals in the pictures to answer,which helps students reinforce andremember number -related words and the main sentence patterns.In "Let's learn",studentsare introduced to five new words and the core sentence pattern "That's...yuan,please.Hereyou are."Given that these number-related words are easily confused by students,repeatedpractice is essential for mastery.The "Listen and chant"section combines the images ofchildren,spiders,and bees with numbers,allowing students to reinforce their understandingof the pronunciation and meaning of number words through reading and performing thechant.Overall,this lesson builds on previous number -learning content,further deepeningstudents'understanding and application of numbers in the context of quantity and price,andenhancing their English communication skills related to numbers.ll.Analysis of the StudentsAt this stage,students have already learned basic number words from 1 to 5 and have someexperience in simple English communication.However,when it comes to dealing with morecomplex number words from 6 to 10,they may still face challenges in accurate recognitionand pronunciation.Moreover,using the sentence pattern "How many...?"to inquire aboutand respond to the quantity of items requires them to integrate vocabulary,grammar,andpractical communication skills,which may be difficult for some students.Students at this ageare curious and active,but their attention span is limited,and they may easily lose interest inrepetitive leaming tasks.Therefore,in teaching,it is necessary to create vivid,interesting.and practical learning situations,adopt diverse teaching methods,and design interactiveactivities to attract students'attention,stimulate their enthusiasm for learning,and help themovercome difficulties in mastering new number -related knowledge and sentence patterns.lll.Four -Dimensional Goals of Core Competencies1.Language AbilityStudents will be able to accurately recognize and read the numbers from 6 to 10 throughlistening to recordings,observing pictures,and watching animations.They can proficientlyuse the target language "How many...?"to ask and answer questions about the quantity of
