Unit5 Thecolourfulworld第1课时PartALet'stalk&Let'slearnDear judges,Good [morning/afternoon]!It is my great honor to present my teaching plan for Unit 5 TheColorful World,the 1st period.Now,I will elaborate on my teaching design from the followingaspects.I.Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis 1st-period lesson is an integrated class of "Let's learn"and "Let's talk"in Part A of Unit5."Let's learn"focuses on dialogue and vocabulary,centered around the sub-topic "Whatcolour do you see?"Through dialogue,it guides students to learn and apply color-relatedvocabulary and sentence patterns,aiming to cultivate their oral English expression andpractical application abilities."Let's talk"is the listening and reading part.Through vivid andinteresting dialogues,students are led to learn and use color-related vocabulary andsentence patterns,which is beneficial for improving their English listening,oral expression,and practical use abilities.In this lesson,students will encounter multiple color words andmaster the basic sentence patterns for asking and answering about colors through dialoguepractice.This lesson serves as an introduction to the unit,laying a solid foundation forstudents to further explore the theme of colors and enhancing their language skills in dailycommunication about colors.ll.Analysis of the StudentsAs students at this stage,they have already accumulated some basic English knowledgeand leaming experience.They are curious about the colorful world around them and have acertain interest in topics related to daily life.However,their English vocabulary related tocolors is limited,and they may have difficulties in correctly pronouncing color words andusing sentence patterns to describe colors accurately.Moreover,their attention span isrelatively short,and they are more likely to be attracted by vivid and interesting teachingactivities.Although they show enthusiasm for learning and are eager to express themselves,they may lack confidence and skills in using English to communicate about colors.Therefore,in teaching,it is necessary to design teaching activities that are full of fun,practicality,andinteractivity,use a variety of teaching methods and resources,and create real-life-likesituations to stimulate their interest in learning,help them overcome difficulties,and improvetheir English language proficiency in describing colors.lll.Four -Dimensional Goals of Core Competencies1.Language AbilityStudents will be able to master the expressions of describing objects with colors in the textthrough pictures,audio-visual materials,and activities such as watching,listening,speaking,and imitating.They can understand,recognize,and read basic color vocabulary,and use thecore sentence pattern "What colour is it?It's..."to accurately describe the colors of objectsaround them,improving their language comprehension and expression skills.
