Unit4 Plantsaroundus第4课时PartBStart to read&PartCDear judges,Good [morning/afternoon]!It is my great honor to present my teaching plan for Unit 4 Plantsaround us,the 4th period.Now,I will elaborate on my teaching design from the followingaspects.I.Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis 4th-period lesson combines "Part B Start to read"and "Part C"of the unit,serving as acomprehensive review and reading class.It aims to help students review the knowledgelearned in this unit through exploratory exercises while conducting extended training.Students will understand the conditions required for fruit trees to grow and learn to createtheir own orchards.The content integrates vocabulary review,reading comprehension,andpractical application,guiding students to connect the knowledge they have learned with reallife situations.By exploring tasks related to plant growth and orchard creation,students cannot only consolidate what they have learned but also expand their knowledge and practicalskills,laying a foundation for further learning about plants and environmental-related topics.ll.Analysis of the StudentsAfter learning the previous lessons in this unit,students have a certain understanding ofplant -related vocabulary and sentence patterns.However,when it comes to integratingknowledge,applying it to new situations,and expressing complex ideas,they may still facechallenges.Their reading comprehension ability and practical operation ability need to befurther improved.At the same time,third-grade students are full of curiosity and creativity,but they lack the ability to systematically summarize and apply knowledge.Therefore,inteaching,it is necessary to design teaching activities that are both challenging andinteresting,guiding students to actively participate in review and exploration,helping themovercome difficulties,and improving their comprehensive language and practical skills.lll.Four Dimensional Goals of Core Competencies1.Language AbilityStudents will be able to understand task situations through pictures and texts,recognizeEnglish names of various fruits,accurately express personal preferences for fruits,andeffectively extract and organize question-and-answer information in dialogues,improvingtheir language comprehension and expression skills.2.Cultural AwarenessUnderstand the importance of plants in human life and the cultural significance ofenvironmental protection,cultivate a sense of reverence for nature,and enhanceenvironmental protection awareness.3.Thinking Quality
