Unit2第4课时PartStarttoread&ReadingtimeDear judges,Good [morning/afternoon]!It is my great honor to present my teaching plan for Unit 2Different Families,the 4th period.Now,I will elaborate on my teaching design from thefollowing aspectsI.Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis 4th-period lesson is a comprehensive review class mainly focusing on making a familytree and reading time.It serves as a crucial consolidation and extension of the knowledgelearned in the previous lessons of this unit.Students will first review English words related tofamily members and describe their own family members.Then,they will create their familytrees and introduce their family situations based on these trees.Through these activities,students will understand that although families vary in size and structure,the love amongfamily members remains the same,and they will learn to cherish and love their families.Thislesson integrates vocabulary review,language application,and practical operation,aiming tohelp students form a comprehensive understanding of family -related English knowledgeand enhance their language-using ability in real-life contexts.ll.Analysis of the StudentsBy this stage,students have already learned the basic vocabulary and sentence patternsabout family members in the previous lessons of this unit.They have a certain foundation inexpressing family-related information.However,when it comes to integrating knowledge,applying it flexibly,and expressing complex family relationships,they may still face somedifficulties.Also,students at this age are more interested in hands-on activities and creativetasks.Therefore,in teaching,it is necessary to design engaging and practical activities tomeet their learning needs,stimulate their enthusiasm for learning,and help them overcomedifficulties in comprehensive language application.lll.Four Dimensional Goals of Core Competencies1.Language AbilityStudents will be able to master the key vocabulary and sentence patterns of this unitproficiently,and use them accurately to discuss different families and introduce their ownfamilies.2.Cultural AwarenessUnderstand the diversity of family cultures and the universality of family love,and respectdifferent family structures and values,thus enhancing cross-cultural awareness.3.Thinking QualityImprove logical thinking and organizational ability through making family trees andexpressing family information,and cultivate the ability to analyze and summarize differentfamily characteristics.
