Animal friends"(Fourth Period -Wrap up)Good morning/afternoon,esteemed judges!It is my great honor to present the teaching planfor the fourth period of "Animal friends"from Unit 1.As a crucial concluding session,this"Wrap up"lesson plays a significant role in consolidating and integrating students'learningthroughout the unit.Now,I will systematically elaborate on this plan from eight essentialaspects:teaching material analysis,student profile,teaching objectives,key and difficultpoints,teaching methods,learning methods,teaching procedures,and blackboard design.I.Teaching Material AnalysisThis "Wrap up"lesson serves as the culmination of Unit 1 "Animal friends".Its primarypurpose is to help students review and integrate all the knowledge and skills they haveacquired in the previous three periods.The teaching content encompasses a comprehensivereview of animal -related vocabulary,key sentence patterns for describing and identifyinganimals,and related cultural knowledge.By incorporating an interesting scenario-basedstory "Rescuing the Little Sheep"and a series of diverse tasks,it encourages students toapply what they've learned in practical contexts.Moreover,the extension activities,such aslearning about animal activity patterns and creating animal fact cards,not only expandstudents'knowledge but also promote interdisciplinary integration,enabling students to havea more comprehensive understanding of animals and language learning.ll.Student ProfileAfter three periods of study,students have a solid foundation in animal-related Englishvocabulary and sentence patterns.They are familiar with basic animal names,descriptiveadjectives,and how to use sentence patterns like "-What are they?-They are..."and "Theare."to communicate about animals.However,there are still somechallenges.Some students may have difficulties in flexibly applying these knowledge pointsin real-life situations,and their ability to summarize and categorize knowledgeindependently needs improvement.Additionally,while students are interested in learningabout animals,maintaining their enthusiasm during the review process requires moreengaging teaching methods and activities.lll.Teaching Objectives1.Language Ability:Students can comprehensively apply the words and sentence patternslearned in this unit to communicate fluently about animals in various situations,improvingtheir language proficiency and communication skills.2.Cultural Awareness:Further cultivate students'love for animals and nature,deepentheir understanding of the hamonious coexistence between humans and nature,andenhance their cultural awareness regarding animal protection.
